Primordial Ooze (CHR-54) is a red Creature — Ooze from the Chronicles expansion. It must attack each combat if able and gains a +1/+1 counter on each of your upkeeps, after which you may pay an amount equal to its counters or tap it and take damage equal to that number. Its forced attack requirement and escalating upkeep tax create a steadily growing board presence that also imposes a maintenance cost and potential self-damage tradeoff.
