Takklemaggot (BCHR-37) is a black Enchantment — Aura from the Chronicles Foreign Black Border set that enchants a creature. At the beginning of the enchanted creature's controller's upkeep, it puts a −0/−1 counter on that creature, and when the enchanted creature dies it returns under the owner's control either attached to a chosen creature or as a non‑Aura that deals 1 damage each upkeep. The card's replacement of being an Aura or becoming a standalone enchantment provides both persistent creature debilitation and a recurring threat that can shift controllers and targets when the host creature dies.
