Time Stop is a rare Magic instant card. When it resolves it ends the turn, exiling all spells and abilities, forcing players to discard to their maximum hand size and proceeding to the cleanup step. That action also removes creatures from combat and prevents most "this turn" and "until end of turn" effects and many triggered abilities from occurring until the next end step.
