Acolyte's Reward (BNG-1) is an uncommon instant from the Born of the Gods expansion. It prevents the next X damage that would be dealt to target creature this turn, where X is your devotion to white, and if damage is prevented this way it deals that much damage to any target. The spell serves as both creature protection and a conditional removal/burn tool because the prevented damage becomes redirected damage and the effect scales with your devotion.
