It destroys a target artifact or enchantment and, if you promised a Gift-a-card when casting it, instead destroys two target artifacts and/or enchantments. The Gift mechanic can be paid as an additional cost to give an opponent a card as the spell resolves, enabling the stronger destruction effect.
