Season of Loss (BLB-284 foil) is a mythic black sorcery from the Bloomburrow set that uses a pawprint-based mode system. As you cast it you choose up to five pawprints worth of modes, each of which can force sacrifices, draw cards tied to your creatures that died this turn, or drain opponents based on creatures in your graveyard. The flexible mode selection lets the card function as sacrifice enabler, draw engine after a mass-die turn, or a finishers-oriented drain effect depending on choices made during casting.
