Long River's Pull (BLB-58 foil) is an uncommon blue instant from the Bloomburrow set that carries the Gift keyword. It can counter a target creature spell for its base effect but, if you promised the Gift upon casting, it instead can counter any target spell and gives the chosen opponent a card before the other effects resolve. The card interacts with the Gift timing rules—promised gifts for instants and sorceries are given as part of resolution, which can change targets and outcomes compared with casting without promising a gift.
