Consumed by Greed (BLB-87 foil) is a black instant from the Bloomburrow expansion that uses the Gift mechanic. As you cast it you may promise a card gift to an opponent, and on resolution it forces a target opponent to sacrifice a creature they control with the greatest power while giving them a card first if the gift was promised. The card also returns the targeted creature card from your graveyard to your hand if the gift was promised, supporting graveyard recursion for deck roles that sacrifice opponent creatures or recover threats.
