Each player puts a vow counter on a creature they control and sacrifices the rest. Each of those creatures can't attack you or planeswalkers you control for as long as it has a vow counter on it.

Promise of Loyalty (BLC-148) is a white Sorcery. When cast, each player puts a vow counter on a creature they control and sacrifices their other creatures; creatures with vow counters can't attack you or planeswalkers you control. The vow counter stays with whichever creature has it (including if control changes) and removing or moving the counter ends the restriction.
