It gives target creature +1/+0 and first strike until end of turn and can be spliced onto other Arcane spells by tapping an untapped white creature. As a splice card it can be revealed and paid to add its effect to another Arcane spell as you cast that spell, letting the effect be applied without casting this card separately.
