Assassin's Strike (BBD 138, Uncommon) is a black sorcery from the Battlebond set. It destroys a target creature and makes that creature's controller discard a card when it resolves. Its interaction can still force a discard even if the creature isn't destroyed by effects like indestructible or regeneration, while failing to target prevents any effect.
