Ruinous Path (BFZ-123) is a black sorcery from Battle for Zendikar that destroys a target creature or planeswalker. It has Awaken 4 for {5}{B}{B}, which instead also turns a land you control into a 0/0 Elemental with four +1/+1 counters (while remaining a land) and grants it haste. The card serves as both targeted removal and a potential late-game threat by converting a land into a creature when cast for the awaken cost.
