Ruinous Path (BFZ 123, Foil) is a rare black sorcery from Battle for Zendikar. It destroys a target creature or planeswalker, and it has Awaken 4 for an alternate cost that turns a land you control into a 0/0 Elemental with four +1/+1 counters and haste. The awaken mode gives it a secondary role as a way to create an aggressive land creature while still resolving the main destroy effect if cast normally.
