Ruinous Path (PBFZ-123 prerelease stamp) is a rare black sorcery from the Battle for Zendikar promos. Its primary effect destroys a target creature or planeswalker, and it has Awaken 4 as an alternate cost that can instead animate a land you control as a 0/0 Elemental with four +1/+1 counters and haste. Casting it for awaken grants both effects, allowing it to both remove a threat and create a temporary attacking land-creature for board presence.
