It can repeatedly exile your own permanents for {2} and tap, then be sacrificed for {2} to return all cards exiled with it to the battlefield under your control. This creates a toolbox effect that lets you temporarily remove and later recur permanents to enable enter-the-battlefield triggers or protect pieces from removal.
