Edifice of Authority (AKH-226) is an uncommon artifact from Amonkhet. It can tap with a one-mana cost to prevent a target creature from attacking and gains a brick counter when used this way, and with three or more brick counters it can tap for a stronger effect that prevents a creature from attacking or blocking and stops its activated abilities until your next turn. Its gradual counter buildup makes it a resource that grows over time, enabling longer-term disruption rather than a one-off answer.
