As Foretold (AKH-42) is a blue enchantment from the Amonkhet expansion that gains a time counter at the beginning of each of your upkeeps. Once each turn you may pay 0 instead of a spell’s mana cost for a spell with mana value less than or equal to the number of time counters on As Foretold, letting you cast increasingly larger spells for free as the game progresses. It supports tempo-shift and cascade-style strategies by enabling multiple powerful spells to be cast without paying their mana costs over time.
