At the beginning of your upkeep it causes each opponent to lose X life and lets you scry X, where X is the number of Zombies you control. You can pay {2}{U}{B} to exile a creature card from a graveyard and create a 4/4 black Zombie copy of it, and when The Scarab God dies it returns to its owner's hand at the next end step.
