Arcane Denial (ALL-22a) is a Common blue Instant from the Alliances set. It counters target spell but gives that spell's controller the option to draw up to two cards at the beginning of the next turn's upkeep, while you draw one card at that same time. This tradeoff makes it a tempo-oriented counterspell that can be used to protect your board or disrupt opponents while providing limited card advantage to both players.
