It destroys a target creature with power 4 or greater and grants you 4 life if you weren't the starting player; it also has Cycling for W and gives 2 life on cycling if you weren't the starting player. As a low-cost removal spell with a cycling option, it can act as both a targeted answer and a ritual to gain incremental life in late-game or looter-style decks.
