It normally enters tapped unless you control a Mount or Vehicle, and it has an activated ability to sacrifice itself to create a 1/1 colorless Pilot token that saddles Mounts and crews Vehicles as though its power were 2 greater. The token is created only by a sorcery-speed activation and the saddling/crewing effect does not actually change the token’s printed power.
