It has first strike, vigilance, and haste and a unique “Start your engines!” mechanic that gives you a tracked speed value which boosts other creatures’ power and reduces noncreature spell costs. As your speed increases when opponents lose life during your turns (up to a max of 4), Samut can shift from a combat-focused leader into a tempo engine that both buffs attackers and makes spells cheaper.
