Xanathar, Guild Kingpin (PAFR-239p) is a legendary Black-Blue Beholder creature from the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Promos set. At the beginning of your upkeep you choose an opponent and, until end of turn, that player can’t cast spells while you may look at and play the top card of their library and spend mana as though it were any color to cast those spells. This card functions as a control-disruption piece that also provides card advantage and off-color casting flexibility for a deck that can exploit stealing plays from an opponent’s deck.
