Description

Xanathar, Guild Kingpin (PAFR-239p foil) is a legendary Beholder creature from the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Promos set. At the beginning of your upkeep you choose an opponent and gain multiple effects until end of turn, including preventing them from casting spells that turn, looking at and playing the top card of their library, and spending mana as any color to cast those spells. Its combination of control and card-stealing effects makes it a disruptive midrange or control threat that can change the course of a game when it resolves.
