Its activated ability lets you sacrifice an artifact and pay W plus tap to search your library for an artifact with mana value equal to the sacrificed artifact's mana value plus one and put it directly onto the battlefield, only as a sorcery. As a 2/2 legendary, it can serve as a toolbox engine in artifact or tempo-focused white decks, enabling incremental upgrades of your artifacts.
