Hand of Vecna (PAFR 246p, Legendary Artifact — Equipment) is a promo from Adventures in the Forgotten Realms that attaches to creatures to grant bonuses. At the beginning of your combat, the equipped creature or a creature you control named Vecna gets +X/+X until end of turn where X is the number of cards in your hand, with the value locked in as the ability resolves. It has two Equip costs including one that requires paying 1 life per card in your hand, offering flexible attachment options and life-as-resource tradeoffs.
