He has Boost 3, letting you pay 3 {Ink} once per turn to put the top card of your deck facedown under him, and an ability that stops him from questing or challenging unless you put a card under him that turn. The design makes him a resource sink that accumulates tucked cards for later interactions while limiting his immediate offensive or questing use.
